A New Vision for TPAS?
At the General Meeting on 16th July 2012 Michelle Reid, TPAS Chief Executive laid out consultation for a new vision for TPAS.
Michelle talked about the fact that TPAS is 25 years old next year - a landmark achievement for any organisation. But with that comes a need to face the future - a future of challenge and uncertainty.
TPAS believes that the future lies in tenants and landlords working together. We see this working in many different communities and we know it works. But as we face the next 25 years of TPAS, what is the best way to make this vision a reality?
Michelle proposed a new model of working for TPAS. The model aims to build on the true strength of the TPAS membership base, whilst also offering a potential company model in which other tenant and landlord organisations could usefully participate or even join.
Michelle invited members to be part of the consultation on this new model through a forthcoming series of regional meetings, online surveys and questionnaires and email discussion.
