The Tpas CIH conference and exhibition schedule

Wednesday 7th of June 2017

Every year the CIH Housing exhibition and conference is a big week for the Tpas team.

This year we’ll be talking about our national engagement survey report at the Mears exhibition stand, our team will be attending lots of workshops of the 3 days including government keynotes, policy and strategic sessions.

We’ll also be on the panel of a masterclass on engagement.

Our schedule:

Tuesday 27 June:

After a packed day attending conference speeches and workshops we’ll be presenting Fortem their Contractor Accreditation.

Wednesday 28 June:

11:30 – 12:30

Our chair, John Giesen will be on the panel to discuss how we can ‘Challenge the negative stereotyping of social housing tenants’. Join us to hear how Tpas has joined forces with journalists, academics, policy makers and housing organisations to tackle this issue.

14:30 – 15:30

Why not join us and Mears at their exhibition stand (D28) where we’ll be introducing the full national engagement report.

16:30 – 19:00

We’ll be hosting an informal networking evening with member chief executives to talk about the national engagement survey report and the changing nature of engagement with the country’s housing leaders.

Thursday 29 June:

09:00 – 10:00

We’re on a panel on a masterclass at the CIH conference called ‘What’s not to like about tenant engagement’. We’ll be exploring the different approaches to improving and embedding tenant and community engagement across the sector.

12:30 – 14:00

We’re delighted to talk at the Mears Tenant Lunch. This is a exceptional event in our diary as it’s an occasion to recognise and celebrate the special relationship between tenant volunteer, landlord and contractor.

We'll also be attending events with our contractor friends and key clients througout the three days.
