Local Authority Engagement Energiser
Engaging and Empowering Residents in Council-owned Housing
Following on from the publication by the LGA and Tpas, one of the key findings was the need for more networking opportunities and sharing of good practice in tenant engagement within council-owned housing. There isn’t a better time than now to put engagement at the forefront of this thinking; through positive leadership, mutual respect, trust and accountability.
This event will explore the organisational thought-processes behind involving and empowering tenants in council-owned housing and how this plays a pivotal role in developing an embedded culture of tenant involvement.
At this not to be missed event hosted and chaired by the LGA, you will hear from a selection of local authorities who continuously demonstrate good practice and how they successfully engage with their residents. Guided by key topics and themes from the report, take some time for yourself to 'self-reflect' on your own organisations practices and explore ways of future-proofing your engagement.
