The Tenant Voice are an independent tenant and leaseholder led group of volunteers who investigate and scrutinise Stoke on Trent City Council Housing Policies, performance data and Services. The group is chaired by the Cabinet Member for Housing and Planning and is attended by Directors and Heads of Service.The Tenant Voice are the voice of over 600 involved tenants and represent the many scrutiny groups including Allocations, ASB, Building and Fire Safety, Complaints, Customer Experience, Editorial, Estate Management, Repairs, Planned Maintenance and Void standards.The group scrutinise, make recommendations to improve services; work extremely hard to change service provisions, hold us to account, add value to governance, review policies, carrying out mystery shopping, offering valuable feedback and input to positively change our Policies and Service delivery.Over the last year, a governance process is in place to share their recommendations to Senior Management for feedback.
