Tenant Board Member Resources
From Lived Experience to Boardroom Influence Research
In 2025, Tpas carried out national research with tenant board members to understand what’s really happening once tenants reach the boardroom. The findings show that tenant board members are motivated, committed, and adding real value, but many are doing so without consistent induction, peer support or the tailored development they need to truly thrive.

Tenant Board Member Toolkit
Check out our accompanying practical toolkit designed to strengthen tenant influence at board level. No one arrives fully prepared on day one. Most people learn through experience, support and gradual exposure to the work. This toolkit will help you understand what you should expect, what your organisation should provide, and what will help you become a confident and constructive board member.
