Nancy Mukoro

Nancy has become a very active Community ambassador in Richmond over the last 18 months. She is very keen to build involvement and ensure that everyone across the borough has a chance to be involved. This has meant she has spent a lot of time running drop-ins at her local community centre, building contacts and signposting local residents to get issues resolved.She has been very open to working with residents from different landlords and building involvement by encouraging others to get involved. Nancy is also active with her landlord being a leader in their new scrutiny work and challenging them to deliver more for residents. She has built relationships with representatives of the voluntary sector and ensured they become more aware of life on the social housing estates across the borough. Nancy works hard with other Ambassadors to ensure that issues are dealt with promptly and that residents know there is support out there.
