Involvement Week - 14 - 18 October 2024

Following four years of our incredibly popular Scrutiny Week, we are thrilled to announce that this year we are expanding the experience with our inaugural National Involvement Week!

This special week will shine a spotlight on and celebrate all forms of resident, tenant, and customer-led involvement, from grassroots community initiatives to boardroom decisions! Plus as part of the week we are offering a variety of free learning, sharing, and networking sessions for everyone. (See programme below).

Additionally, don’t miss our Tpas Scrutiny Conference, a highlight of Involvement Week, offering even more insights and opportunities (more details on the conference programme and costs can be found here).

With the new Regulatory Framework now in place, and a growing emphasis on successful engagement, there’s no better time to come together and showcase the outstanding work driven by resident, tenant, and customer involvement, and the significant impact it is having.

There are numerous ways to get involved - it’s really up to you! Here are some ideas:

Today spotlights tenants who reviewing, scrutinising, mystery shopping and doing any other work to improve their Housing Services

#IW24 Launch live on our YouTube Channel.   Hear from Tpas chief executive, Jenny Osbourne, as she shares her thoughts on Involvement Week and highlights some of the events and activities you can get involved.

 

Free Online Session

Gain valuable insight from St Leger Homes, Beyond Housing  and Greatwell Homes, as they spotlight how tenants influence services in their organisations. You'll hear about their approaches, what worked well and any challenges they faced along the way! There also be time for questions and discussion.

Community Do-ers Day

From Tenants Associations to Block and Community Champions, Tuesday is all about celebrating the grass roots volunteers making a difference in their communities.

Measuring Engagement Club plus the Tpas Impactathon 

Join us as we wrap up involvement week with a big focus on engagement impact!

The first part will see us open up our Measuring Engagement Club to all with Caritas Charles exploring the emerging trends from the recent regulatory judgements ,followed by L&Q as they share the key take aways from their recent report " A Partnership of Equals." There will also be time for discussion and questions. 

The second part of the session is our impactathon slot. Hosted by Tpas Louise, this is all about celebrating the impact engagement is having across the country. People will be invited to share their stories of engagement impact and there will also be time to look other examples of impact shared with Tpas through social media and our member spotlights!
