What is it?

At Tpas we have a range of services to help you and your organisation evidence your own commitment to engagement excellence. We have a pathway that helps you move at a pace that suits you, your circumstances and your tenants.

The foundation is built on the themes of the Tpas National Engagement Standards - this is where the journey will start.

All members are encouraged to carry out their own Free Member Self-Assessment against the Standards before prgressing to a SMART Review.

The SMART Review takes the Self-Assessment to the next level. It asks you as an organisation to assess yourself against each of the Tpas Standards and decide whether you can confidently demonstrate that you can meet them. Each desktop assessment is followed up with reality checking by us.

We will provide an assessment on how your organisation meets the standards and an improvement plan if there are areas where the standards have not been met.

What it includes

A Smart Review will help you;

• understand how you are performing against regulatory requirements
• understand how you are performing against the Tpas National Tenant Engagement standard themes
• enable you to ensure your engagement activities are based on sound strategic decisions
• enable you to understand what is working, what’s not and where to improve

What is involved in a Tpas ‘Smart’ Improvement package?

The Smart package will take a deeper Independent look at your current business objectives and engagement framework

The Smart package is a threefold design; you complete the framework below and return to your Tpas Consultancy Manager. You also need to provide Tpas with your key Engagement documents; we will put them in the Tpas knowledge hub

We will then arrange to spend a day with you and your key stakeholders to gather further evidence

We will then provide you with an action plan report, detailed with short term recommendations; highlighted with good practice and improvements to enhance your engagement activities

What are the benefits of completing a Tpas ‘Smart’ Improvement Package?

You will get an independent assessment from the Tenant engagement experts who will assess your current engagement activity against the Tpas National Engagement Standards to ensure you’re maximising your engagement so it supports informing; shaping and evaluating your engagement services

We will enable you to ensure your engagement activities are based on sound strategic decisions, principles that meet the national tenant engagement standards and are evidenced based to maximise your delivery and achieve greater value for money

You will be provided with a report; action plan and detailed short term recommendations highlighting good practice and improvements to enhance your engagement activities
