The backdrop of this roundtable is the significant increase in repairs and maintenance spending by English housing providers, now exceeding £1.3 billion. Alongside the rising volume of Housing Ombudsman casework involving repairs-related complaints, there's an urgent need to address these challenges head-on.

The Spotlight report on contractors aims to explore the root causes of these complaints, not to assign blame but to foster understanding and drive improvement across the sector.
