Stigma & Social Housing
Join us on the free member seminar as we continue to shine a spotlight on the injustices and barriers stigma brings to those living in social housing.
First, you'll hear from Dr Amanze Ejiogu and Dr Mercy Denedo (authors of the hughly impactful 2021 report Stigma and Social Housing in England). They will take you through their brand-new report 'Stigma and Social Housing in England: Feedback on the consultation responses' and share with you the key findings and recommendations from their accompanying policy brief.
We will then hand over to the tenants campaign group 'Stop the Social Housing Stigma' who contributed to Amanze and Mercy's report. They will share their thoughts and detail the work they do and how you can get involved to help stop stigma.
Finally, there will be a discussion session for members to ask questions, share experiences and suggest actions for change.
Places are free for Tpas Members.
