Introduction to Being a Board Member Webinar (Free for Tpas Members)
This webinar is aimed at tenants and leaseholders of housing associations and ALMO's who are interested in becoming a board member (non executive director).
It aims to provide advice about the riole as well as dispelling some myths about the role of housing association customers on Boards.
It will briefly explore:
- The role of the Board
- The legal requirements of Non-Executive Directors - the Fiduciary Duty
- Residents on boards - the skills and 'lived experience'
- Code of Conduct for Boards - finding the residents voice
