Cultural Awareness in Housing (Free)

This interactive session explores how cultural background, language, and identity shape tenant experiences and engagement. Designed for housing professionals and tenants alike, the session combines practical guidance with reflective activities to help participants:

  • Understand the impact of culture, identity, and intersectionality on tenant experiences.
  • Apply inclusive communication techniques across language and cultural differences.
  • Recognise and challenge bias while reflecting on power dynamics in tenant-staff relationships.
  • Explore real-world examples of effective engagement with underrepresented communities.

Through case studies, breakout discussions, and reflective exercises, you’ll gain practical strategies to foster trust, inclusivity, and empowerment in your housing services.

This session can only allow a maximum of 20 delegates.
