End Furniture Poverty - How to support tenants with furniture provision. (Free)
End Furniture Poverty are an organisation who work to raise awareness of the issue of furniture poverty.
Their aim is to improve the understanding of the consequences and the reality of living in furniture poverty and to develop potential evidence-based solutions to ensure that everyone has access to the essential furniture items that they need to lead a secure life.
About the session
Join us for this session that will briefly outline the extent and impact of furniture poverty and explore practical solutions to help you to support your tenants with furniture provision, with a focus on furnished tenancies.
It will include information on how to create a new furnished tenancy scheme, looking at the challenges and opportunities, as well as the benefits for both tenant and landlord.
We will also examine the range of grant giving charities and furniture reuse charities who may be able to support your tenants with furniture and white goods and provide guidance on how to reuse furniture and flooring left in properties.
This one hour webinar will be delivered by Claire Donovan, Head of Policy Research & Campaigns
We held an introduction webinar to End Furniture Poverty and their work earlier this year – you can catch up with this webinar by downloading the link here
