Tpas E learning

Learn, share ideas and gain accreditation for your involvement experience by joining a Tpas E learning course.

Our interactive courses have been successfully undertaken by 100’s of people of all ages across the country since 2008.

The Tpas E learning site www.tpaselearning.org.uk was re launched in September 2016 with some of our most popular courses updated and the site rebranded.

We are currently undertaking some work on the site but courses will commence again in May.  Take a look at the Training and Events Calender for further information and dates. A more detailed outline of each advertised course is available below, courses are listed A - Z. 

To take part in Tpas E-Learning you need

  • the use of a tablet or computer with internet access and sound; 
  • some on-line experience e.g. shopping or sending emails;
  • the ability to type information into a document or discussion forum;
  • basic literacy skills.

The benefits of Tpas E-Learning include

  • learning at your own pace, in a location of your choice, at a time to suit your lifestyle;
  • training for individuals on national courses or for groups from a single organisation;
  • accessible courses with support for other languages and the ability to change text size and contrast;
  • Interaction with other learners via discussion forums; 
  • support from a Tpas online tutor.

Understanding Tenant Scrutiny - Starting 12 September 2017

An excellent introduction or refresher course with accreditation to help you understand what scrutiny is and how you can be involved.

Understanding Housing Management Performance Information - Starting 12 September 2017

This course is designed for tenants and residents involved in setting up performance standards and indicators, monitoring, scrutinising and inspecting as well as those who just want to learn a little more about how this information is collected and used.

Getting Involved Online - Social Media - Starting 3 October 2017

Social Media is now essential and an incredibly useful tool for tenants, communities and organisations. On this course you will learn new ways to engage, consult and keep in touch using different online sites.

Effective Meetings - Starting 3 October 2017

This course is designed for tenants and residents involved in setting performance standrads and indicators, monitoring, scrutinising and inspecting, as well as those who just want to learn a little more about how this information is collected and used. Officer level staff may also find the course useful.

Tenant Engagement - Starting 14 November 2017

An excellent introduction, induction or refresher course with optional accreditation.

More courses will be added throughout the rest of the year.

Note - April 2013 March 2016 Tpas received Government funding under the Tenant Central programme to offer free E learning. This funding is no longer available. Prior to this funding all Tpas E learning was chargable
