Tpas on Tour - A spring full of ideas, connections and great conversations
Tuesday 23rd of June 2026
This spring, Team Tpas hit the road for our regional member events, travelling across the country and catching up with members in Taunton, Kingston, Hull, Skelmersdale, Birmingham, Letchworth Garden City and Worthing.
What a few months it has been! With more than 400 members joining us across the events, it was fantastic to see so many tenants, staff and partners coming together to learn, share ideas and connect with colleagues from across the sector.
A huge thank you goes to all our brilliant hosts who welcomed us and shared examples of the great work happening in their organisations. We’re very grateful to:
Hull City Council, West Lancashire Borough Council, Pioneer Group, First Garden City Homes, Kingston Council, Worthing Homes, Somerset Council and Homes in Somerset.
As always, the agenda was packed. We were joined at each event by colleagues from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), who spoke with members about key housing policy issues including Awaab’s Law Phase 2, social housing stigma and floor coverings. More importantly, members had the opportunity to feed directly into these discussions, sharing experiences and feedback, asking questions and helping shape future thinking and policy development.
We also heard from Stop Social Housing Stigma, who shared the important work they have been leading over the last 12 months, including findings from their recent national tenant survey, which highlighted that over 70% of tenants say they have experienced stigma because they live in social housing.
And of course, no Tpas event would be complete without celebrating some of the incredible work happening across the country. We ended each event by recognising our Engagement Heroes, shining a light on the tenants making a real difference in their communities and celebrating the passion, commitment and impact they bring every day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this year, we loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones too.
We'll be back on tour in early 2027, so keep an eye on the website for dates. We hope to see you there!
