From Lived Experience to Boardroom Influence Webinar (Free)

In 2025, Tpas carried out national research with tenant board members to understand what’s really happening once tenants reach the boardroom. The findings show that tenant board members are motivated, committed, and adding real value, but many are doing so without consistent induction, peer support or the tailored development they need to truly thrive.

Join us for this live webinar, that offers the first look at this research, and launches our accompanying practical toolkit designed to strengthen tenant influence at board level.

In this session, we will:

• Explore key research insights, including induction gaps, confidence, workload and peer support
• Walk through the new toolkit and how it can be used in practice
• Share how Tpas plans to continue supporting tenant board members

You’ll hear directly from David Hampton, a Housing Association and Tpas tenant board member involved in the research, alongside the Tpas team.

• Tenants interested in stepping into governance
• Staff who support tenant board members, boards or governance processes
