Using Behavioural Insights to Increase Involvement

Now, more than ever, Social Landlords need to be sure that they are hearing the tenants' voice, and traditional ways of encouraging involvement don't always reach everyone. This course will help identify how using Behavioural Insights (or 'nudge') can reach a wider, more diverse number of tenants and achieve their involvement.

Further details

The course is an introduction to Behavioural Insights with a clear focus on using the approach to increase the number and diversity of involved tenants. Examples form social housing will be shared and the methodology used to develop new communication messages.

The course will also share findings from Tpas Trailblazer Project: 'The Engagement Maximiser'.

What will participants learn?

  • Why people do the things they do and how this knowledge can be used to attract tenants into being involved with their landlord
  • The use of evidence will be explored and how data can be used to not only track outcomes but to help decide who to tailor communication messages for

Who should attend?

Staff responsible for engagement and involvement, insight and data, communication and marketing and performance.
