Things are changing! New website FAQs

Some things are changing...
What is changing?
A few things are changing at the same time. Tpas are using a new CRM system, Glue Up, to make our behind-the-scenes management easier, and to improve members’ experience. Alongside this new CRM system, we are rebuilding the Tpas website to make your experience easier and more user-friendly.
The web address you already know, tpas.org.uk, does not change. The Tpas you know is not changing either. Your membership, your benefits, your account history, and the team behind it all stay the same. What changes is where you sign in and what you see when you do. More details of how to do this will follow.
Why now?
We have been listening to members. The most common asks have been a more user-friendly place to book events, a better way to find each other, and a mobile option for people on the move. The new platform brings all of that together in one place.
When is it happening?
The new platform launches in September 2026. We will confirm the exact date as soon as it is locked in, and you will hear from us at every step along the way. What we do ask is please bear with us as we go live to allow us the time to overcome any minor teething problems.
What about the Tpas website itself? Is that changing too?
Yes. The web address you know, tpas.org.uk, stays the same. Everything else about the site is being refreshed at the same time as the move. New look, new layout, easier navigation, brighter feel.
Do I need to do anything before launch?
Almost nothing. The one thing we will ask is that you set a new password the first time you sign in to the new platform. We will walk you through it. Everything else carries across automatically.
Will my membership fees change?
No. Fees and benefits are not changing because of this move. Your current term continues exactly as it is. Your next renewal will run in the new system but at the same level you are on today.
In short: New home, same Tpas. One password to set, then you are in.
Your account and signing in
Where will I sign in from now on?
From the same Tpas website address. The web address stays as tpas.org.uk, however the sign in page will look new. The exact link will be in your welcome email on launch day, and there is also a "Member login" button on the homepage. If you have an old bookmark for the previous login page, that bookmark will be redirected to the new page for at least 90 days, so you will not get lost.
I have got bookmarks for Tpas pages I use a lot. Will they still work?
Some will, some will not. Because the whole website is being rebuilt, the addresses of individual pages may change. We have planned redirects for the most common pages, including the login page, so popular bookmarks should still get you where you want to go for at least 90 days. The simplest fix is to sign in on launch day, find the pages you use most on the new site, and save fresh bookmarks from there. If you land on a page that does not look right, click the Tpas logo to go back to the homepage and start again, or email us on membership@tpas.org.uk with your details and we will point you in the right direction.
What email and password should I use?
Use the same email address Tpas already has on file for you. On your first visit you will be asked to set a new password.
I do not remember which email Tpas has for me. How do I find out?
Check older emails from Tpas in the inbox you usually use. If you are still unsure, please membership@tpas.org.uk
I share an email with a colleague. Will that still work?
Each Tpas account needs its own email address. If you currently share, please let us know and we will help separate the accounts before launch so each of you can sign in independently. Please email membership@tpas.org.uk.
I am an organisational lead. Can I manage who in my team has access?
Yes. Organisational leads will have a clearer view of who in their team is a Tpas user and a faster way to add or remove people. We will write to you separately with details before launch.
Is the new platform secure?
Yes. Glue Up is a recognised provider used by membership organisations around the world. We have looked carefully at how member data is protected and we are happy with the safeguards in place.
Your data, bookings, and history
Will my booking history come across?
Yes. Every event you have booked or attended with Tpas comes with you.
I have a booking for an event after launch. Is it safe?
Yes. Any booking you have already made is honoured. When you sign in to the new platform you will see it sitting there. You will also get a confirmation email from the new system.
Will my preferences and email subscriptions move across?
Yes. Your email subscription preferences carry over. If you ever want to change what you receive, the new platform makes it easy.
Renewals and invoicing
Is my renewal date changing?
No. Your renewal date stays the same. The way your invoice reaches you and the way you pay may look a little different at your next renewal.
How will invoices look?
Invoices will come from the new system. You will see the same charges as before, presented in a clearer format. If you have a finance contact in your organisation, let us know who they are so we can copy them in. This will be helpful for us moving forward.
How can I pay?
You will still pay by whatever method you do currently. If you have a long-standing payment arrangement, it carries over unless you tell us otherwise.
I am paying mid-term. Is anything different?
No. Your current term continues with no changes. Anything you have already paid for is unaffected.
Who do I speak to about a question on my invoice?
Contact our finance team, on info@tpas.org.uk or call 0161 868 3500.
Mobile app
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, and it is free. Search My Glue in the App Store or Google Play. Sign in with the same email and password you use on the website.
Can I message other members?
Yes. One to one chat is available inside the community. There is also a digital business card feature to make networking at events easier.
