Scrutiny Qualification Success for Glynn

We wanted to share with you Glynn’s success with his CIH Level 3 Award in Resident Scrutiny certificate.
Last week South Derbyshire DC Tenant Participation Officer Laurie Devitt sent us a lovely photograph of scrutiny group member Glynn Lacey with his CIH Level 3 Award in Resident Scrutiny certificate. We wanted to share this with you and celebrate Glynn’s success.
Glynn was one of a group of learners from three housing providers who began the award in September 2015 and completed in spring / summer 2016. The three organisations Nottingham City Homes, Derwent Living and South Derbyshire DC funded the training between them and the tenant participants really enjoyed the extra insight they gained from working across organisations.
Glynn told us that
‘The tutor was very good at keeping us relaxed and providing us with information’, ‘ I learnt there is a lot more to scrutiny than I first thought’ and ‘ the way the course was run was ideal’.
Glynn found the course challenging but was really thrilled to have passed and commented
‘Thank you so much for this wonderful news, it was hard going but eventually all the effort has been rewarded. This is a huge boost for my self esteem’
